The George Telegraph Training Institute is an accredited Pre-Recruitment Insurance Agents’ Training Institute by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA).

50 Hours Training (Composite)
Candidates who are seeking license for the first time, to act as Composite (i.e. Life and General combined) Insurance Agents has to complete 50 hours of training. |
50 Hours Training (Full Time/ Part Time)
In life or general insurance business where trainees are seeking license for the first time to act as an insurance agent, they have to undergo at least 50 hours of practical training which is spread over 18 days for full time training.
The part-time batches are usually imparted the same 50 hours training for 3 hours daily in the evening for a minimum duration of 34 working days excluding Sundays and holidays. |
25 Hours Training (Renewal)
Any person desirous of renewing his /her license, to carry on as an agent, is required to undergo a 25 hours of training. |
