News Room :: 04/06/2007 Career Awareness Campaign in North East India George College and George Telegraph have jointly embarked on a Youth Development Programme in North East India. To inaugurate this, we organised Career Orientation Seminars in Kohima, the capital of Nagaland and Imphal, the capital of Manipur. The Kohima programme was held on 7 August 2002 in Kohima College. The Imphal programme was held on 11 August 2002 in D. M. Science College. The local response to both programmes was very encouraging and we thank Mr. H. Saiborne, Principal of Kohima College and Dr. Madhusudhan Singh, Principal of D. M. Science College, for their enthusiastic support. We would also like to welcome Ms. Shashila Jamir as our representative for Nagaland and Mr. Bidyut Yumnam as our representative for Manipur.
